Join us for a multi day adventure as we explore the coastlines of the Discovery Islands or Desolation Sound. These areas are home to abundant wildlife, stunning coastlines, freshwater lakes and secluded island campsites. All gear, meals and guiding is included! On these expedition style kayaking trips, we will set up our tents as a basecamp and explore the surrounding islands, inlets and bays. These adventures will give you a taste of back country camping and expedition style kayaking! Cortes Island is a perfect jumping off point to explore the calm waters of Desolation Sound and the rugged coastlines of the Discovery Islands.
These trips include: A certified local guide, all meals, tents, sleeping mats, and kayaking equipment! Please bring your own sleeping bag!
We offer overnight kayaking trips launching from Coulter Bay, Cortes Bay, Squirrel Cove and Mansons Landing. These trips can range from 1-7 days in length and can explore a variety of locations. For our multi day adventures we can customize the trips to include a variety of destinations! These destinations include but are not limited to; Read Island, Penn islands, Desolation sound, Toba inlet, Octopus Islands and many more amazing places! .
Lodge Based Kayaking trips
We offer lodge based kayaking trips! These are based out of a variety of locations. This combines the adventure of a multi day trip with the comfort of a lodge stay. Contact us for more information and pricing.
Mothership Kayaking Trips
We partner with Misty Isles Adventures to offer mothership kayaking trips. These trips allow for easy access to remote back country locations for kayaking in pristine wilderness. These trips range in length and location depending on the group. We often explore Toba inlet, desolation sound, Quadra Island and many other incredible paddling locations.
