Based on Cortes Island, British Columbia, our kayaking adventures and rentals offer an unforgettable way to experience this remarkable region of the Salish Sea. Located 150 km north of Vancouver, Cortes Island is the perfect launching point for exploring Desolation Sound, the Discovery Islands, and the many pristine inlets that surround them.

Operating from May through September, we offer a wide range of experiences, including sunset and bioluminescence tours, afternoon adventures, multi-day expeditions, kayak and yoga retreats, lessons, and more. As we paddle along sheltered coastlines and explore nearby islands, you may encounter humpback whales, orcas, harbour seals, sea lions, and a rich diversity of birdlife.

All of our trips are led by certified local guides who share their passion and knowledge of the area’s ocean ecology, wildlife, geology, and cultural history. Our tours are family-friendly and suitable for all levels of kayaking experience.
